Responsibilities of the CAD Designer are:
- Strong technical or mechanical background in a manufacturing area.
- Experience in manufacturing with CAD background emphasis on SolidWorks software.
- Ability to design molds and pattern/equipment for customer parts from customer CAD files/drawings.
- Ability to design a variety of pressure test and machining fixtures.
- Maintain a library of plant layouts, plant machinery, maintenance parts, and customer product parts.
Requirements are:
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics.
- Minimum of 3+ years in designing of castings or toolings is a MUST.
