We’re looking for a talented Production Supervisor to coordinate work and provide leadership and development for assigned teams in a non-union manufacturing company that is successful and growing. This first shift position has a regular Monday thru Friday schedule.
Qualified candidates will possess initiative and drive, a record of career growth, and previous experience in manufacturing production, preferably in a non-union environment. Processes include machining, cold forming, hard forming, cutting and stamping, milling and grinding, heat treat, and paint.
High School Diploma required. 4-year degree preferred
3+ years’ production experience in a manufacturing environment, including at least one year in a leadership role.
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, and experience with ERP or MRP systems. SAP a plus.
Proven initiative and the ability to make critical decisions with limited data.
Excellent verbal and written business communication skills. Ability to communicate effectively at various organizational levels.
Proven understanding of production processes, scheduling, and workflow with a record of meeting schedules.
Ability to provide rotational weekend coverage (with advanced notice), and alternate shift coverage on occasion, if necessary.
High activity level and strong sense of urgency to achieve performance targets.
Demonstrated skills in continuous learning, flexibility, customer focus, quality commitment and maintaining good relationships.
