1. BS Engineering degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing. 
2. 5+ years of “hands on” manufacturing industry experience
3. Experience must include CNC or machining or welding or brazing
4. This company is focused on lean manufacturing so experience with lean or Six Sigma or process improvement is also important
5. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently, and demonstrate the willingness to assume duties outside normal functional responsibilities.
6. Must be able to demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills along with proficiency in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
7. understanding of ISO9001: 2008 standards and knowledge of quality concepts and customer quality tools is desirable

1. Work with product engineering and manufacturing engineering groups to ensure continual improvement in a lean environment in process and product design to exceed customer requirements
2. Support for operations such as welding, brazing, CNC’s and other metal cutting, forming and finishing operations.
3.  Facilitate continuous improvement activities to reduce the potential for defects
4.  Lead problem identification, containment, action planning and execution activities
5.  Assist in coordination of Corrective Action Requests (CAR/SCAR)
6. Assist in coordination of Non-Conforming Material Reports
7. Conduct audits/assessments of processes and quality systems (ISO, internal audit, etc)
